Nanny needed

Our current after-school nanny is graduating from nursing school and just landed a great job in her new field.  While we’re thrilled for her, that means we’re seeking a new after-school nanny.

Here’s the scoop:
After-school child care for my two 8th graders, 6th grader, and Kindergartener from approximately 3:30 to 6:30 Monday through Thursday in my home in Western Shawnee.

Responsibilies include:

• helping ensure the Middle Schoolers get their homework done and complete their chores
• rides to or from occasional after-school activities
• starting or finishing dinner (e.g. cutting up a salad or putting what I prepared the night before in the oven)
• occasional light housekeeping duties (e.g. throwing in a load of wash or folding a dryer of clothes, cleaning up the kitchen after snacks, helping the 5-year-old pick up her toys), and
• other, related duties as assigned.
